Stuff that’s so awesome it hurts, Vol. 35

Awesomeness

This week, I’ve found a very interesting combination of things, all of them awesome. Enjoy!

1. Matiko Sweater Boots. I’m not quite sure if I love these boots or hate them, but they are definitely unique. They seem practical (if you live someplace cold and wet) and fun. And I like that you can use the laces to tighten them, so you could adjust them to fit over pants or bare legs.

2. Bacon Flavored Toothpicks. Bacon is very hot right now.  That’s because bacon is awesome. Here’s a way to enjoy bacon without all the calories. Say you’re sitting at your desk, working hard, but you don’t want your coworkers to know how much you love bacon. Just pop a bacon-flavored toothpick, and your problem is solved! (Note: Please do not swallow the toothpick.)

3. Water Lilies Pendant by Joslin Jewels. This is a gorgeous necklace. I found Sheridan (the artist who created this pendant) on Twitter and her work is just beautiful.  And unique – everything she sells is handcrafted and one of a kind.

4. Wrenchware. Wrench + fork = twice as useful as a wrench or a fork alone.  If you carry this three-piece flatware set around with you, not only will you be prepared for spontaneous dinner parties, but you can also tighten and loosen things on the fly. That is a useful combination.

5. Olive Kids Wild Animal Wallpaper Cutouts. These are so cute! I would definitely decorate a kid’s room with these cutouts. Though I’m not sure we should be teaching children that zebra have white and blue stripes. Or that turtles are purple.

That’s all for this week. See you next time!

The wenchware website is very bizarre. I don’t think I would ever need a tire bowl, harley davidson plate, or a big mouth bass cup, but it was entertaining. Thanks Jenn.

The variety and uniqueness of your picks are unbelievable. Not sure about those boots but that pendant completely rocks.
