Stuff that’s so awesome it hurts, Vol. 31
I was talking to a few friends the other night, and they requested an entire volume of stuff we can actually afford. I thought that was a pretty reasonable request, so here it is.
1. Ribbon-Trim Flats from Newport News. These cute loafers are only $25. They come in several pretty spring colors, but I like the cream-colored ones best. In fact, I just convinced myself. By the time you read this, I will have bought them (note: whenever shopping at Newport News, do a quick web search for a coupon before checking out).
2. A Touch of the Southwest Turquoise Earrings by Celisa. I’ve featured Celisa’s earrings here before, but I can’t say enough about how much I love her jewelry. She makes simple but very pretty jewelry in every color you can imagine. And it’s so ridiculously affordable; she has a whole section of $4 earrings. That’s right, four dollars. Go get some.

3. Hulda Vilse Rug from IKEA. This rug costs $39.99. Rugs are usually so expensive, but this one is funky and cheap. I think this would look nice in my dining room.
4. I Love Avocados Onesie. This is very cute. Do babies really like avocados? I don’t know, but I think they should. Avocados are soft and delicious - babies should like that. And at $15, I think this counts as affordable.

5. Vintage Hall Art Deco Style Porcelain Teapot from Goodwill. Did you know Goodwill has an auction site? I love this art deco teapot (currently under $10), but if you have a little patience, you can find some very cool - and very cheap - stuff to suit your own tastes.

That’s all for this week. See you next time!

I love the IKEA rug! Except that its white and my oldest dog is incredibly oily, so it wouldn’t stay white for long!
You’re stuff is always so awesome. Thanks for putting your post together each week and giving me a small break from my business feeds. It’s always a little nugget of fun in my feed reader. I think I might get that Avocado Onsie for my niece.
Love it! Those shoes are pretty awesome. I might buy them, too. The lilac is pretty.
I agree that babies, theoretically, should like avocados. Some people don’t like avocados period and I speculate that they are actually aliens.
