Stuff that’s so awesome it hurts, Vol. 12

Awesomeness

This week, we have some really wacky stuff and one item that costs $100,000, so get your Plum card ready.  I’ll start with the most expensive item in this week’s list…

1. Ovei Home Cinema Pod. Ok, so it’s almost $100,000. Whatever. This is the coolest thing I have ever seen.  I love, love, love the idea of locking myself in a pod and immersing myself in my film experience.  It seems cozy and womblike. I want this more than anything.

2. Charles David Shik Booties. In purple! I seem to be on a purple kick lately. But who can blame me? Purple is awesome. These booties would look great with jeans or a black or gray skirt – perfect for fall. I need some booties.

3. Marc Coated Skinny Jeans. I guess I need some skinny black jeans to go with my new booties. I like the look of coated demin a lot, and these Marc Jacobs coated jeans are really fantastic. Black skinny jeans go with almost everything and you need a pair. So do I, actually.

4. Di Stefano Productions Corpses. Just in time for Halloween – corpses! I’ll admit it; I wasn’t entirely sure if these were real or not when I first found them. You know, you can find anything online. But assuming they are just realistic corpse replicas, maybe you should get one to scare the crap out of the neighborhood kids.

5. Winerack Drinking Apparatus. Ha, this is brilliant! This “Winerack” is like killing two birds with one stone.  Bird 1: Increase your bust size. Bird 2: Carry wine with you everywhere. That’s one useful stone.  Plus, you’ve got to see the ridiculous copy on their website. Here’s a gem: “The Winerack was developed to ‘fill out’ our product line if you will.” Oh, I will.

That’s all for this week. I hope you enjoyed it!
