Stuff that’s so awesome it hurts, Vol. 6
I’m pleased with this week’s collection - lots of good stuff in here. I can’t decide which is my favorite, but I’m excited about the prospect of bright turquoise sheets and chowing down on Lenin’s head. Oh yeah, you’ll see.
1. Giuseppe Zanotti Design Enamel Leather Heels. Quality, designer, Italian. All part of what make these shoes so attractive. Sure, I can’t afford to spend $600 on a pair of shoes just now, but if I could, I’d get these in a second. So very pretty.

2. Vladimir Lenin Head Pops. These are just delightful. I can think of a dozen inappropriate jokes to include here (most involving plays on the word “suck”), but I’ll let you come up with your own. I’ll just say that Lenin is one of my favorite historical figures and I love candy, so this completely unexpected combination has made my day. Also, he tastes like cola!

3. Spot On Earrings from theGlassOnion. These earrings are made from vintage 1940s beads. I love the simplicity of the earrings, letting the beads speak for their fun, colorful selves. And by now, you’ve probably noticed that I have a certain fondness for all things Etsy.

4. Dot Percale Bedding from The Company Store. I’ve spent way too much time in my life searching for high-quality, brightly-colored sheets (instead of the standard whites and pastels). Now I can stop looking; these are perfect. I prefer the solid colors, but it’s hard not to like the big polka dots. I’ll take one set in each color, thank you.

5. Maternal America Paisley Halter Maternity Dress. This dress is for all my currently and recently pregnant friends (more and more of those every day - I guess that means I’m officially an adult). I know it can be hard to find stylish maternity clothes, but this dress is so great I’d wear it even though I’m not pregnant. Plus it looks cool and comfortable, which is important for getting through hot summers (right, Heather?).
That’s all for this week’s volume. See you next week!

Lenin’s face really captures the wide-eyed surprise of someone who suddenly realizes he’s about to be eaten by a child.
cotton maternity dresses are way more comfortable compared to synthetic fabrics.~*,
