Introducing: Jenn’s favorite research resources

Blogs

One of my favorite parts of running a company dedicated to helping people find cool, relevant products is the research I have to do to stay informed about important topics.  This “research” involves lots of reading and talking about style, fashion and shopping.  I can’t think of a better kind of research than that.

During an average day, I do a whole lot of research. I read tons of fashion magazines and blogs, engage in conversations about shopping, and think about what I see and hear. I write about many of those ideas here on this blog, but I thought I’d take it a step further and share with you some of the resources I turn to for my research.

I’m going to make this a regular feature of Appozitegeist. Every week, I’ll write about a least one interesting blog or website related to shopping, fashion or style. In addition, I’d be very interested to learn about other sites and blogs you like in these areas, so feel free to leave comments pointing out other fun blogs. So, here’s the first one…

Favorite Research Resource #1

I’ll start out with You Look Fab. Written by Angie, a style consultant, this style blog offers great advice and tips on how to be stylish and dress well. A few of my favorite recent posts include one about casual pants and another about ten must-haves for spring and summer this year. The blog is informative, accessible and fun to read, and there’s a large community of regular readers and commenters.  I love it!
